How does platelet-rich fibrin work?

Platelet Rich Fibrin allows the body to heal at an accelerated rate. When our bodies heal, cells are sent towards the wound to start the healing process. Platelets help the body to heal and repair by stimulating stem cells and tissue regeneration

1 BLOOD SAMPLES TAKEN FROM PATIENT

Blood is collected from the patient from a vain in the elbow flexion in a sitting or lying position. Average amount of blood collected for the treatment 8 -18 ml depending of area and procedure booked.

Phase 2 - blood centrifugation 5-15minutes

Contraindication to the treatment

• taking aspirin and other NSAID pain killers

• CANCERS the. patient may be qualified for the procedure if at least 5 years have passed since the end of the treatment.
• leukaemia myelomas
• pregnant and lactation we do not perform treatment for ethical reasons
• treatment/medication using anticoagulants
• acute hepatitis or cirrhosis of liver
• acute states of autoimmune diseases
• neuromuscular. disease (e.g. MS,ALS,motor neuropathy myasthenia graves, or Lambert Eaton syndrom?)
• skin conditions (active acne)

Instruction two weeks before procedure for patients

• The patient should drink a minimum of 1.5 - 2.5 litres of water during the few days before procedure (otherwise taking blood maybe difficult)
• The patient should not use non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs before the procedure and for 7 days after procedure.The patients may take 1-2 tablets of paracetamol before procedure to alleviate the pain.
• on the day of the procedure you should abstain from:sauna, fitness classes, hot baths, and practicing active sports disciplines.
